SMC Conference 2020

The SMC Conference 2020 will be held at the University of Stirling on Saturday 7 March 2020. The keynote speaker is Craig Barton (of the famous Mr Barton Maths website and podcast), who will talk about Misconceptions in Mathematics.

The full conference programme (PDF) is now available with an exciting mixture of talks and activities spanning primary and secondary education. The SMC Conference is the largest such meeting in the country, so there will also be plenty of opportunities to meet teachers from across Scotland and share ideas!

Registration this year is via Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/smc-stirling-conference-tickets-90357117571. The standard registration fee is £80; a concessionary rate of £20 applies to all students and to teachers from the Western Isles, Orkney and Shetland. The extended deadline for registration is Sunday 16 February 2020. If you are unable to access Eventbrite then you can send us a completed registration form (.doc) instead.

SMC are very grateful to Sumdog for again being a Silver sponsor of the SMC Conference in 2020. Thank you for your generous support!
